What is appropriate to send to my family
members services?
When we lose a close family member traditionally a larger floral piece is sent.
The casket spray is generally ordered by the closest living relative.
Specialty pieces such as crosses, hearts, and wreaths are highly appropriate to send.
Often family members may send a combination of pieces that would be placed directly on
each side of the casket or urn in the event of a cremation.
|
What is appropriate to send for friends and
business associates to the services?
Usually, friends and associates send standing sprays, sympathy arrangements or large planters.
These are sent to the services where they displayed.
|
What is appropriate to send to the family's home or office?
It is appropriate to send a gesture of sympathy to the surviving family's home in time of loss. Traditionally,
a lovely floral vase arrangement, lush green or blooming plant, or a fruit/ gourmet basket is sent for the family to enjoy.
